Is parking available?
There’s free on-site parking for our guests to use.
Are dogs welcome at the hotel?
Dogs are welcome in some bedrooms and public spaces including the reception, gardens, Terrace, and The Village Inn. A nightly charge of £15 applies. Please note, dogs aren’t permitted in all Premier or Deluxe rooms or suites.
Is the hotel suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Several rooms are suitable for guests with limited mobility or who use wheelchairs. Just let us know your requirements in advance so we can help you find the best option.
Is electric car charging available?
To charge your electric vehicle, you can easily register a personal account on the Monta app. In the ‘Me’ section, select ‘Join a team’ and enter the team code thurlest-5756 to access our on-site chargers at a discounted rate.
Faster chargers are also available in our garage, just let us know in advance if you’d like to book a space.

Dining
What is the dress code for dinner at Trevilder?
Dressing for dinner is part of the experience here. Smart-casual attire is kindly requested, and jackets are preferred for gentlemen. We ask that guests avoid shorts and sportswear.
Can children dine at Trevilder?
Of course! Children are welcome. A children’s supper is served daily between 17:00 and 18:00. Children aged 12 and under may also dine in the restaurant with adults between 18:30 and 19:30, when the children’s menu is available.
Do I need to let you know if we’re bringing children at Trevilder?
Please do. Let us know when booking if your party includes children – and if you’ll need high chairs or space for buggies, so we can make sure everything’s in place for your visit.
Are children welcome at The Village Inn?
Yes, of course! The Village Inn is a relaxed and family-friendly spot to eat. A dedicated children’s menu is available every day.
Can I bring my dog to The Village Inn?
Absolutely. Well-behaved dogs are always welcome, whether you're inside by the fire or out enjoying the sunshine.
Is there outdoor seating at The Village Inn?
Yes. We have outdoor tables available, though we kindly ask guests not to take food or drinks outside after 21:00, out of consideration for our neighbours.
Do I need to book a table at The Terrace Bar?
Yes, pre-booking is essential. To reserve a table, please call 0333 253 5832.
Is there outdoor seating available at The Terrace Bar?
Yes. The Terrace Bar has two outdoor terraces, as well as an indoor conservatory for cooler days.
Are gluten-free or other dietary options available for afternoon tea?
Please let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate any dietary requirements.
Do I need to book in advance for afternoon tea?
Yes please. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for all afternoon tea bookings.
Do I need to book in advance for Sunday lunch?
Yes, advance booking is recommended as tables are limited.
Can children dine too for Sunday lunch?
Absolutely. Our Sunday lunch is family-friendly, and we can accommodate younger guests.
Stays
What time is check-in and check-out for hotel rooms and suites?
You can check in to our rooms and suites any time after 16:00, and check out any time before 11:00.
What is there to do during my stay?
There's plenty to fill your days here. Onsite, enjoy our award-winning Voyage Spa, tennis courts, swimming pools, and more. Beyond the hotel, explore South Devon’s beaches, local towns, and scenic trails – all within easy reach. You can find all the best things to do, here.
Is room service available in rooms and suites?
Light refreshments are available from our room service menu 24 hours a day.

Do you offer exclusive use for events?
For the right occasion, yes – particularly for Christmas parties and large-scale celebrations. Get in touch with our team to talk through options, numbers and possibilities.
Spa
Can children use the spa facilities?
Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. They cannot use the thermal suite or gym, and are not permitted in the pool after 18:00.
What are the spa opening hours?
The Voyage Spa is open daily from 8:00-21:00.
Is there a dress code or anything I should bring?
Please shower before entering the pools. Towels and lockers are provided, and we kindly ask you not to wear your outdoor shoes poolside.
Can I bring guests to the spa?
Only with a Gold Voucher – members may purchase up to four guest passes per year, valid for seven days.
How warm are the pools?
The indoor pool averages 27°C (84°F); the outdoor pool ranges from 26–28°C (82–84°F).
